At Mystic River Pugs, we are a small, dedicated family with a deep passion for the preservation and advancement of the Pug breed. Nestled on 136 beautiful acres just outside Valleyview Alberta—about 1.5 hours from Grande Prairie or 3.5 hours from Edmonton—our dogs have tons of space to run, play, and just be Pugs.
We are committed to breeding Pugs of exceptional quality, prioritizing health, temperament, and structure above all. Our breeding program is guided by a commitment to excellence, utilizing health-tested, proven bloodlines with the goal of producing sound, well-balanced Pugs—both in the ring and in the home. We breed first and foremost for ourselves, with the intention of producing our next Champion.
Each of our dogs plays an integral role in our lives. They are not only show prospects or breeding companions, but beloved family members. That same philosophy extends to the puppies we place—each one is raised with care, socialization, and a foundation for lifelong success.
